Every title, every client

Each title below has its own live server list. Titles are grouped the way the community actually splits them: by the client that keeps them online.

Questions people actually ask

Which client do I need for each Call of Duty game?

It depends on the title. Plutonium covers World at War, Black Ops, Black Ops II and Modern Warfare 3. IW4x covers Modern Warfare 2. AlterWare covers Ghosts, Advanced Warfare and Black Ops III. Aurora covers Modern Warfare Remastered and Infinite Warfare. HorizonMW covers MW2 Campaign Remastered multiplayer, CoD4x covers Call of Duty 4, and cod.pm lists the original CoD1, CoD2 and United Offensive servers. Each game page here links straight to the right client and its install guide.

How do I join a server from this list?

Every row shows the server address as a console command. Click it to copy "connect <ip>:<port>", then open the in-game console, usually the tilde key, and paste it. On clients with a built-in browser you can also search for the server name once the client is running.

How often are the player counts updated?

Server lists are re-polled from each client's master server and refreshed on this page every 20 seconds. The timestamp above the list shows how long ago the current data arrived.

A server shows players but I cannot connect. Why?

The usual causes are a version mismatch between your client and the server, a password-protected server (marked with a lock icon), a full server, or required custom content such as a mod or map pack that has to be downloaded first. Checking the server detail page will show the current map, mode and player list.

Do I need to own the original game?

Yes. Every client listed here requires a legitimate copy of the corresponding game. The clients restore dedicated servers and community features to titles whose official services were shut down or never supported server browsing; they are not a way to play without owning the game.

Is GameServe.rs affiliated with any of these clients?

No. It is an independent server browser that reads publicly available master server lists. It is not endorsed by Plutonium, X Labs, AlterWare, Aurora, HorizonMW, Activision or any other rights holder.
